12th Annual Fallen Warrior Golf Tournament- In Person

On behalf of our Fallen Warriors, The Warrior Battalion Army ROTC Alumni Association and the Cadre & Cadet's of the Warrior Battalion,

I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that the 12th Annual Fallen Warrior Golf Tournament will be held on April 7, 2023 (Good Friday) at the Waikele Country Club. Designed by internationally renowned golf course architect, Ted Robinson, Waikele Country Club is just 30 minutes west of Waikiki in a region of exceptional beauty. The course overlooks Pearl Harbor and the blue Pacific. Turn, and your gaze sweeps from Diamond Head to the sculpted slopes of the Ko’olau and Waianae mountains. Waikele Country Club features a golf shop with logo apparel and merchandise, locker rooms, a full-service driving range, and also putting areas. Golf club and shoe rentals are available. On property you can also find Waikele Country Club Restaurant which features excellent American, Japanese and local style food. The restaurant also offers a full bar and serves as a banquet and special events facility. 

The tournament pays tribute to the University of Hawaii Army ROTC Warriors who bravely served our country and made the ulimate sacrifice to our nation. Proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association, Fallen Warrior Memorial, and Cadet Activities. Many of the Cadets live far from home, and proceeds from last year's tournament were used to support the University of Hawaii Army ROTC Holiday Party.

You may have received an email, in error, stating that the tournament had been "rescheduled". We apologize for that message being sent out as we were updating the Events Page, and it was sent out automatically.

"Check-In" will begin promptly at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Local Time (HST) and "Shot Gun Play" will begin at 12:30PM. Expect play to last up to 4 hours per group. Play should wrap up at 5:00 PM, but don;t worry, we will have plenty of Food and Beverages for you to purchase along the way.

The 12th Annual Fallen Warrior Banquet will be conducted after the Tournament. Location will be at the Waikele Country Club Restaurant. Doors will open at 5:00 PM, and service will begin at 5:30 PM and end at 7:00 PM. Tickets for the Banquet will be on sale until March 07, 2023, which is the suspense to provide the final headcount to the Waikele Country Club. 

There will be two tournament packages available & an option to attend the Banquet only: (Note: If you have already purchased a Basic Package, and wish to upgrade to a Premium Package, please contact Mr. Vic J. Underwood for a refund, so you can make the upgrade.)

1. Basic Package: ($110.00 per player)

Includes the following:

• 18 holes of golf at the Waikele Country Club Course
• Site Fees
• Tournament Fees
• Scoring and Gratuity
• 1 x Chipping Contest Entry
• 1 x Putting Contest Entry
• 1 x Ball Marker (Centennial Poker Chip)
• 6 x Raffle tickets to be entered into drawings and giveaways

Note: On the day of the Golf Tournament the Basic Package will be $150.00+Tax

2. Premium Package: ($210.00 per player)

Includes the following:

• 18 holes of golf at the Waikele Golf Club Course
• Awards Banquet Admission
• Site Fees
• Tournament Fees
• Scoring and Gratuity
• 2 x Chipping Contest Entry
• 2 x Putting Contest Entry
• 1 x Ball Marker (Centennial Poker Chip)
• 1 x Alumni Association Challenge Coin
• 12 x Raffle tickets to be entered into drawings and giveaways

Note: On the day of the Golf Tournament the Premium Package will be $250.00+Tax
